Introducing Everdraft

· Moho

Today we're launching Everdraft, a writing studio built on one idea: AI should help you write, not write for you.

It learns how you sound, then puts a team of specialized agents to work on your draft, from first idea to final review. Here's why we built it.

Code Has Tests. Words Don't.

As a software engineer, I've spent a lot of time inside agentic coding harnesses like Cursor and Claude Code. They work because code is deterministic. You can verify it with tests. Code is correct as long as it does what it needs to do, and does it in a way that's performant, maintainable, and clean.

Writing doesn't work like that. You can convey the same message in many different ways, and they're all right. But which one is you?

That question is the problem to solve. I wanted a Cursor for words, and I knew it would come with its own set of problems, because I know both worlds well.

A Kid With a Pseudonym

I've been blogging since I was very young. As a kid I wrote a fiction blog under a pseudonym and was deeply active in the independent blogging communities of the time. I know a blogger's problems firsthand.

Years later I decided to start my own blog and newsletter again, and went looking for AI tools to help. I tried the popular ones such as OpenAI Canvas or Claude Docs but they did not work for me. It felt like someone else writing for me. I caught myself thinking "I'd never say that" way too often. Not to mention the AI smells. (You know the ones.)

That might be fine for a short email. But it wasn't my words and thoughts in my voice. I wanted more control. I wanted to write myself, with help when I needed it, and I wanted it to follow my existing style.

The market, as far as I could tell, offered two choices: blank notepads, or overpowered slop engines. But I wanted a system that helps me write, instead of writing for me. Agents that assist me with my writing on demand, not agents that replace me.

Meet the Team Behind Your Draft

Everdraft is a studio for writers with a team of specialized AI agents. Each team member has dedicated roles to play:

Editor is the chief of staff. It's the one you talk to, and it knows your work, your voice, and which specialist to call. When in doubt, reach for your Editor.

Ghostwriter is for when you have an idea but can't get it out of your head. It interviews you, asks thoughtful questions, and takes notes live on the side. You can even talk to this agent on a phone call. Go take a walk while your Ghostwriter picks your brain over the phone.

Analyst is for when you write about a topic and want to follow the latest on it. Set up a monitor, and it keeps you up to date on the subjects you care about. It can also run deep research on demand for anything that needs a closer look.

Reviewer reads your draft and provides feedback. A fresh pair of eyes when you need them. You can teach Reviewer to always check for specific things such as grammar or unverified facts. Teach your Reviewer to read like your own readers or target audience and let it provide constructive criticism like your readers commenting on your work.

Designer finds the right image for a section, or an illustration for what you're trying to explain.

Why five agents and not one? Because an AI agent with one focused job often does better work than a single AI agent trying to do everything. You can also use different AI model providers for each agent.

How It Learns Your Voice

Everdraft studies your existing pieces and takes a fingerprint of your sentences. That's stylometry: the measurable habits that make your voice yours. You can see what it measured on your writing style page. A one-time setup, and then you're good to go.

After that, the writing agents, the Editor included, bring your style into their work.

Everdraft is also designed to get better with use. As you write more in your workspace, the shared workspace memory and recurring learning processes help tune things to your preferences.

From First Idea to Published Post

Everdraft covers the whole path. Talk an idea through with Ghostwriter, research it with Analyst, draft with Editor, get a read from Reviewer, add images with Designer. Then push it straight to Sanity or Ghost, or export it as markdown. More integrations are coming soon.

We're building an agentic harness for high-quality writing, for bloggers, newsletter writers, essayists and more. And we're just getting started.

Try it today with a free 7-day trial, which includes $5 of AI usage.

I hope it helps you write more, and write better.
