Does Everdraft publish to Ghost?

No. It creates a draft post on your site and does nothing else. It never publishes and never emails your subscribers. You open Ghost and press publish.

Who can connect Ghost?

The workspace’s owner or an admin, from Integrations in Settings. Once it’s connected, anyone in the workspace can send a draft to it.

Which URL goes in the Admin API URL field?

The API URL on your custom integration’s page in Ghost, not your site’s public address. On Ghost Pro, the two differ.

What happens to my Admin API key?

Everdraft checks it with your Ghost site before it saves it, stores it encrypted, and never shows it again. To change it, click Manage and connect again. Disconnect removes it.

Can anything stop a draft from going?

No. Your draft goes as it stands. If suggested edits are still open, Everdraft first asks whether to include them.

Can I send to Ghost without a plan?

Yes. A workspace with no plan is read-only, and it can still send drafts to a connected site. It can’t connect a new one.

Forty Paintings of the Same Pear

Every morning for forty days, I set one Bartlett pear on the kitchen table, under the north window, and painted it before the light changed. Same pear, same table, same hour. My cat, the critic, watched the first eleven from the chair, then gave up.

The early paintings are all outline. By pear #12 I was copying what I knew a pear looks like, not the one in front of me. Around #20 the fruit began to bruise and lean, and I had to look again every day, because it was no longer yesterday’s pear.

You only see it by the thirtieth try: the freckles, the brown at the stem, the way the skin takes the window. The painting stopped being a picture of a pear and became a record of looking. It’s just a pear.
