Ask it yourself
Ask the Analyst
directly.
Address the Analyst in the Studio bar and ask what you want to know. It answers you in a conversation in your Inbox.
It searches the open web, and your own drafts and sources too.
Ask Analyst to research a topic, or ask Editor to request the research. You get a report with links to its sources.
A research conversation in the Inbox: the brief Editor wrote, the Analyst’s answer with the cited report it filed, and a line saying Editor asked for this research.

Or ask Editor
Ask Editor to research a question. Analyst prepares the report, and Editor reports back in your conversation. Click Open research to follow the work. You can read that research conversation, but cannot reply in it.
A cited report
When it’s done, the Analyst files a report with its citations. It cites only pages its own searches found.
The report is saved as a source, ready to use in a draft.
How it works
Ask the Analyst in the Studio bar, or ask Editor and let it hand the work on.
It searches the web, reads what it finds, and checks your own sources.
Open the report it filed, check its sources, and use it in your draft.
