A studio for
your own words.

Everdraft is a studio where you write with a team. Some of the team are people, and some are AI agents. Here’s what we believe about writing that way, and why the words stay yours.

Why we’re building Everdraft

We’re building Everdraft so writers can research, draft, and revise in one studio, with AI help when they want it. Their writing samples and preferences guide the work.

A team with jobs

Everdraft has five AI agents. Editor is your partner, and it runs the work. Ghostwriter interviews you one question at a time and keeps notes in your words. An Analyst researches a question and cites its sources, and it can watch the topics you write about. A Reviewer reads your draft and comments in the margin. Designer makes pictures for your drafts, and never prose.

Each agent has a job title, not a first name. It gets one job, and the tools that job needs. A Reviewer can comment and suggest edits, but it has no way to change your draft by itself.

Your people are on the same team. They read the same Inbox, write in the same drafts, and work with the same agents.

One lead, and help when it’s needed

Editor coordinates the work and brings in help when a piece needs it. It can ask Ghostwriter to interview you, ask an Analyst to research a question, or ask Designer for a picture. Each one works in a conversation of its own, and Editor reports back to you in yours.

Your voice, as a rule

In Everdraft, your writing style is something you can read. Everdraft builds it from pieces you wrote. Each style instruction includes an example from your writing. Every agent that writes prose for you writes to it, and Everdraft checks an agent’s words against it before they land in your draft.

Everdraft also checks the rules you save. Tell Editor a word you never use, and it can save that as a rule every agent follows.

And you can write every word yourself. The agents are there when you want them.

You stay the author

A Reviewer’s edits wait on the page until you decide. Accept them one at a time or all at once, or reject them. Nothing a Reviewer suggests changes your draft until you say yes.

When a piece is ready, Everdraft hands it over as a draft. It never presses publish, and it never emails your readers.

Show the work

Trust comes from seeing what happened. In a conversation, every line shows who wrote it, a person or an agent. In a draft, an agent at work shows its face at the top of the page, beside the people who are there.

What Everdraft learns about you sits on one page. Anyone in your workspace can read it, and anyone can correct it. Tell it a rule once, and every agent follows it from then on.

Facts first

A made-up number under your name does more harm than a weak sentence. So an agent with no source for a fact can mark the gap rather than fill it.

You see each marked gap in the margin as a fact check, and you decide what to do with it.

Why the name

Everdraft is named for drafting and revising. We want to make it easier to start a draft and improve it through editing.
